Staff Training
Training is effective when staff are able to put what they have learnt into effect - "Use it or lose it". That means don't train until your coecontact database is ready to go live.
-
We can provide training tailored to the needs of different users. For example some will be concerned with data entry and keeping the database up-to-date, free of errors and duplications.
-
Managers will want to know what the management reports can tell them. At least one manager will have to understand how coecontact can be shaped to serve the evolving needs of the organisation.
-
Document management control requires an understanding of the organisations forms, communications and filing systems.
-
A Db administrator will need to know about users' IDs, passwords and permissions. The same person might also be responsible for database back-up and recovery.
Training Costs
Cost depends on which of two methods of delivery you choose; a combination of both may be the best overall solution.
-
Training can be delivered most economically to a single person or a small group using remote log-in and simultaneous telephone link. It's only necessary to allow a short time to become familiar with the remote log-on software; all the rest of the time is actual training. It's perfectly feasible to organise bite sized chunks - say one hour per day.
-
Training at the customers office can include more people, but is necessarily more expensive. For example: 6 hours training (divided any way that suits) with one hour of breaks for the trainer = 7 hours. Plus, say, 4 hours travel time = 11 hours + actual travel expenses.
-
Our current rate is £60 + VAT per hour or for a charity registerd in the UK and unable to reclaim VAT £50 + VAT.
