Mail-Outs

Select contacts by category, sub-category, postcode, age or gender and send them a communication using:

• Address labels
• A circular letter
• An email, with or without attachments.

Automatically create an event record for each recipient to prevent them receiving the same communication twice and to record the activity for reporting purposes.

Each contact has an indicator 'Send publications' Yes/No; those set to no are automatically excluded.  Selection is by up to six category/sub-category pairs using And/Or/Not/Xor logic; also

part postcode, age-range and gender.

Complete details of each addressee may be output to a temporary table that is easily used with Word merge for sending personalised circular letters.  Various automatic feature simplify this task; for example:

• The name and address are combined into a single addressee field.
• A special variable chooses the familiar 'Known As' form of a contact's name, if it's available; if not the forename is used, and so on.

Dear Sir, (to address The Manager, for example).
